[YSL] TEINT ENCRE DE PEAU, LE CUSHION (REVIEW – B30)

I am pretty sure you know by now that I am obsessed with cushion foundations. So when a spotted this YSL cushion foundation even if it is not a kbeauty product I had to buy it. I was particularly attracted to it, because I previously had one foundation from YSL, which to date is still one of my favourites.

Packaging

The packaging is the classical cushion foundation packaging in plastic. However, the combination of colours and details really make it very sophisticated. Unfortunately, this cushion, albeit pricey, does not come with a refill. It does come with the cushion puff with YSL written on the handle.

Texture

This cushion is quite moisturising, although it did settle a bit in my dry patches, but nothing major. What I am not crazy about is a slight pink undertone, which does not suit my skin perfectly. I wish it was the same B30 shade of the YSL cushion I had

The cushion does not feel heavy on the skin and it build ups nicely. It did last me all day with very little wear around my nose. It has a medium coverage, and it hid pretty well my blemishes. It does have refills but those need to be purchased separately, which for the cost of this foundation is not great.

Results

I really like this cushion, and I believe that despite the price I would probably purchase it again. It wore nicely throughout the day and only set a tiny pit in my dry patches. The downside for me is the pink undertone and the fact that this cushion shades do run very light. I originally bought the B20, but it is too pink and light for me. I am usually a 21-23 shade in Korean cushion foundations.
